Dave (from not breathing) tells me that he was happy with the way it turned out. That's a good sign. From what I gather though, it sounds pretty much like a collaboration between dvoa and nb should sound. ambience ala dvoa and screwed up beats and tones ala not breathing. still waiting for my copy... --brian rachielles brachielles@juno.com www.geocities.com/sunsetstrip/club/4980 idm review archive: www.geocities.com/paris/metro/9160/idm.htm

dead voices on air versus not breathing inv096cd 1. alston fel (1:50) 2. sinkhole (6:29) 3. jute wheel (5:05) 4. unknown kadath (13:01) 5. nord hasp (6:01) 6. azathoth venom (8:12) 7. rookhope (10:38) odd numbered tracks are new material from NB remixed by DVOA even numbered tracks are new material from DVOA remixed by NB overall impression: very good bottomline: if you like dead voices on air ... you should like this. the DVOA material is essentially drones while the NB material is drones with percussive elements, twinkly synth lines and samples added for enhancement. me likes. I'm really looking forward to the Spybey / Twilight Circus and Spybey / Jarboe collaborations ... markw@southwind.net
