Yes this disk has been talked about a lot lately on the Atom Heart list...fucking awesome CD...it's so good to come across something like this that sounds so completely different than most of what I'm lsitening to right now. RHK has latin tinges in some of his tracks but Senor Coconut takes it to a whole other level- peace Nate On Thu, 24 Jul 1997, Brian Behlendorf wrote:

Nope. This is a damn fine album...but I'm not sure how to describe it...jungle mambo? latin freakout? salsa hop? In any event, I recommend this album to anyone who enjoys that latin flava. Have you heard the second album by this guy? khanan suntharam kxs28972@bayou.uh.edu

Sounds interesting - can you give us some more information on this guy? I'm always interested in latin rhythms but worried that things may get a little to cheesy. Is the percussion live / programmed / cut up latin beats? What else is going on? Mat.

i got to hear this at brian's place on friday and it's really good. i have a low cheese tolerance as well so if i like it you know it's not cheesy.
