I've never used the service, but there is something called Trade-safe
(www.tradesafe.com, I think; I found the link thru www.harmony-central.com)
that acts as a neutral third party. I don't recall if there's a fee. I
haven't used it b/c I haven't had the need to trade anything via the 'net
yet, and I've been happy with the COD option.
And I have to keep in mind that there are relatively few losers out
there. A few months ago I picked up a used copy of Performer 5 for dirt
cheap. The disks were bad, but the guy I bought it from went way out of
his way to contact MOTU, get new disks, and send them on to me, without
cashing the money order until I was up and running. That's the way it
ought to be! J
