I think most of Telegram is not as good as stuff to be found on the individual 2CD singles, such as the Goldie remix of Isobel (breathless shimmering thing) or the Howie B remix of Hyperballad (redone vocals over flighty beats) or the LFO version of Hyperballad (soaring vocals contrasted against harsh rhythmic repetition). I also think the singles make better listening: Telegram is harder to sit through in one sitting, maybe owing to the clashing diversity of the styles, but I could listen to the Hyperballad or I Miss You 2CD sets all day long. Some of her earlier singles suffered from a certain remix ODing (remember Big Time Sensuality with six dozen samey Fluke remixes?) but the Post singles have been very satisfying overall. On now:: Bjork: Karvel (another b-side gem) James Jung-Hoon Seo // Oracle New Media (415) 506-3829 // jseo@us.oracle.com Chewbacca. // Harrison Ford, on the Tonight Show, when asked who among his numerous co-stars was the best kisser

The best mix, IMO, is definately the Plaid remix on the third "possibly maybe" disc. probably the best remix whatsoever of her stuff. drumndrillnbass and quite "android"-ish. i've heard quite a lot of her singles (if not all...) and this is the most impressive remix. the black dog mixes on that remix ep ain't too bad either. salam! fransk. I was with this person all the way until I read this! Bjork more daring than Freeform or MAS??? Puh-fucking-please, let me read that again. Yep, you are a dipshit. The reason why it is "Underground" to begin with is because it *IS* daring. Duh, most underground music is 'underground' b/c it is TOO daring for it not to be otherwise. Why do think our pal GONZI has opened up his own club in OC? Because no one else (locally) is daring enough to do this shit. If Bjork comes to town everybody and their dead dog goes to see her, that ain't fucking special. Gonzi is taking a "dare" at Global Village (a fairly new club that has been screwed by various Local Dj's- Dr. Freecock for example) OK back to Bjork. Look that bitch has some fantastic music, and agree prolly many would say it's better than Rephlex, but better doesn't mean more daring! She has these producers help to create some progressive music, however FREEFORM's ELastic Speakers for example, has a lot more drive to it and more passion. YOu can just hear that it is that ARTIST's personal touch. When you listen to a Bjork album track by track you can tell who produced which song. You can easily spot the graham massey or black dog touches. Where's BJORK's input? I can't tell. When I listen to Simon Pike's shit, I know it's him and nobody but him. He's got balls, Maybe your bitch Bjork can use some of her gazillion dollars and buy herself some testes, maybe then she'll do it herself:) -0 (I know it'll piss some one off)

First your rascist attack on Rowland (we all remember that don't we? "you fucking British maggot, can't you read your own piece of shit language") and now this sexist bullshit about Björk. You're proving yourself to be a really stand-up guy. I won't even think about taking any of your opinions seriously. "Maybe your bitch Bjork can use some of her gazillion dollars and buy herself some testes, maybe then she'll do it herself" Jesus. Let's end this fucking thread right here, I'm sorry I started it up. I'll send all my future reviews to Gonzi for approval. Fe. With all the talk of Bjork's new record.....It seems like no one is really talking about the content of the record but more about how it was made. After listening to the record, it seems to me that it isn't a very good record.....it comes across as very self indulgent and kinda annoying. But thats just my opinion and I've only listened to it once.. maybe it will grow on me ROB **********LOGIQ'S NEW CD**************** BIG ON MARS 11 Tracks of Electronic Bliss http://www.sinless.com/logiq ****************************************

Bjork is the George Lucas of IDM. (Funny that Gonzi doesn't post casting calls for movies created by people with day jobs who aren't zillionaires and don't hire people to direct their movies and write their scripts for them...)
