1.Can anyone tell me about this disc: C. Vogel-Body Mapping? I *think* it was on Mille Plateaux, but I am probably wrong. I have heard his name mentioned here and there, but never listened to his work. Any info would be extremely appreciated. 2. I finally listened to the latest Aphex Twin. I won't say if I liked or not,' don't want to start useless threads. What I *DO* want to mention is that the store priced the IMPORT Warp CD at the domestic price of $13.99 (or was it $14.99?) Anyway, if some hardcore Aphex Twin person (who had not bought the import yet) wants it, send me some $$$ fast before the store owner realizes his mistake. (I will give my snail mail address thru private email). 3. This store also had a used copy of Locust's _Truth...._ for $9.99. Again, same idea as with the Twin CD. peace, gil gmv500@earthlink.net on now (this weeks best find for $8): Sun electric's 30.07.94

This is no mistake - any store that refuses to adjust its price on an import that's also available on a US label won't get much business from me. C. -- C.Hilker (cspot@hyperreal.com) "He was mesmerized by the light-pictures, and the music sent him right into dreamland"

"Body Mapping" is sort of in between what I can only call the Tresor-ness of his earlier one ("Absolute Time") and his first more idm-y Mille Plateaux one, "Beginning to Understand". By Tresorness I mean that minimal, hard, misanthropic housey sound that's the big thing right now. Vogel doesn't seem to be able to give it enough twists to reward long-term listening. Beginning to Understand is better than both the Tresor albums. Anyone have anything to say about the new one on MP? Ashok np - RRich "Gaudi" and my sneezes
