Well, I think the one of the better ways is NOT to use your real email
address in your Newsreader preferences, why dont you use:
shephrd@NOSPAMearthlink.net or shephrd@-NOSPAM-earthlink.net
Robots will scoop up the text literally and get a nice bounce and people
that need to write you should be able to figure out that "NOSPAM" isnt
part of your email address.. If they cant figure that out then maybe you
wouldnt wanna talk to them anyways, or you could state in your sig file
instructions that those spoof characters must be omitted.
