I have to agree on this. They had a pretty cool logo too.

Again, good choice, but note however that there were several Mantronix bassline 12". For example, one is called "Mantronix bassline the 12 inch" and has an additional indication: "stretched". This has an extended version of bassline, an instrumental of ladies, ladies remixed and get stupid `fresh` part 1. No bassline instrumental... Ciao,

How many Bassline 12"s were there exactly? Mine reads: "Mantronix (the 12" single) - Bassline" on the spine. The A-side has "Bassline(Club version)" and the B-side has "Bassline(Instrumental Version)" and "Bassline(Radio Version)". Chep (Bad Boy) Nunez edited it and it was released in 1986. +----------------------------------+ | Eric Frans | | franse@bigdog.engr.arizona.edu | +----------------------------------+

MAN! I should actually read my listmail more often! I havent heard anything about the early 80's jams in a longg long time! I had at one time a grand total of four different versiond of bassline including the LP... Do you like,,,MANTRONIX...hell yeah.. Frag, man...thems was the good ol days... Plus EGYPTIAN LOVER! I had every lameo lyric mesmorized as an impressionable youngster. Me and my pal Dave would have flown to china to get those 12s... I once called EErecords and spoke to the dj joe cooley abd a couple of other guys and begged for the old 12s...They sent me ALL of them for 3 bucks! That included all the jamie jupiter stuff and the girls remixes and a couple of uncle jamms army 12s. lately tho, Elover has bit the big one. His last decent disc was Pyramix... The Filthy CD and the other new crap pretty much sucked. I dontknow where dude lost his edge. All his partners flew the coop too, Rodney O and all those guys... Man...what went wrong!? If you want to coooome...come to....my house.... Later all, I'm taking a trip to the Alezby Inn!!! Jasonosaj P.S. Thanks for these memories! I have a tear in my eye.
