A friend of mine has seen a couple of CDs by these folks (or FOLK, singular, whatever it is %-), knows that they have something to do with Atom Heart, but knows nothing else. Can anyone out there provide some information for us on what the music is like? Much thanks in advance! Deb

I know of the following stuff (and I might forget about something in the process): some cassette release ltd to 500 copies that I don't have Hertz single Automotiv single (don't have) Matter album Biofeedback ep Biohazard ep Cloned album Cloned: Binary sampling CD Render album Render Audible remixes The material is a very German, Roland-analogue reunion for the most part. Lots of samples as well. Hyper-futuristic quasi-dance mind-fruit in pointillistic pastel colors. Now tell me about Atom Heart, please. On Fri, 14 Apr 1995, Deb wrote:

Yep it's him...

It's mostly his industrial edge stuff. Best industrial I ever heard though. I used to like industrial back in the day when it actually sounded like factories and machinery... Now industrial almost always is some grungy rock music. LB is very electronic like old Clik Clik and Severed Heads... The best thing Atom Heart ever did IMO is this twelve pressed by the Sructure/Blue/DJungle Fever... guys called Eye (like the I stuff on POD which is also brilliant BTW). It's Atom Heart live in France and it just has this cartoon eyeball on the label. It's fucking excellent! -robert ______________________________________________*AudioElectronic*_____ "UFO: Starting with the MG Frequency knob at 0, sonic explorers \ as you turn up the knob, \ the UFO will sound like it is taking off." -> MS-20 manual ____\
