Thanks for the review of the Gueule de Bois EP. The story behind Swim is that it was written and recorded in an afternoon with Hilary and John, and is perhaps as close to an improvisation between computer and trombone as we've yet managed. So there are inevitably loads of things that could be different. We thought that the recording captured something special and so it ended up on vinyl. Dope happened in more or less the same way one pissed off day last August, and I suppose has quite an improvised character as well. Look out for John Dalby's superb album "Magpie Zoom" and Germ's "Parrot" album which should both be out in a month or so, GPR willing. There should also be a web page for GPR very soon but don't hold your breath. Tim Wright.
