Hello Jeff!

if you scored. . .then you have the shivers! shiver stemra (sh003) A. subsonic soundscape, fever B. ursa major 7, oiled love, fornax this is one of those tracks that takes temporary control over my universe. the two cuts on here that deserve expanded bandwidth are called *subsonic soundscape* and *ursa major 7* *sub sonic* starts off with some afterburners lighting up and a trickle of tickling electro. . .tic tic tic . . .and then surprise! an electronic musical equivalent of a time elapsed sunrise. get that? oh well, the track pounds along quickly juggling the duty of keeping time between some HARD fours and some RIDING electro beats. the trancy tops here are solid, sweet, and melodic. dare i say AFXY? (hey! it's a legitimate comparison!) up tempo techno electro bass. warning: the track is peppered with vocoderesque samples, but this is one worthy track to chat bass. DOWN! *ursa major* is a much more relaxed, purely electro groove. it walks that fine line between techno and house, and walks WITHOUT a crutch! (read: thump free) a short minimal intro makes it plenty dj friendly. but, when this track takes off, you won't be thinking about a dumb dj! futuristically funky AND floaty, the definition of brilliant! WOW! there are few tracks that can truly take me OUT and this is ONE. the "explosion outtro" of U.M. dumps this track into the Teep hall of fame. already an afterhours classic.

ANY further information on the label will be appreciated coast to coast :) i vaguely recall another shiver record some where in the gopher site happy full moon Teep

As far as i know Shiver is Erik van de Broek's label. He also makes all the tracks. Hopefully the Lowlands mailing list will start soon, maybe someone on that list knows more......
