this is from the liner notes of "Early Works: Come Out/Piano Phase/Clapping Music/It's Gonna Rain" by Steve Reich on Elektra records: "Come Out is composed of a single loop recorded on both channels. First the loop is in unison with itself. As it begins to go out of phase a slowly increasing reverbation is heard. This gradually passes into a canon or round for two voices, then four voices and finally eight." the other works on this disc are all very good too. - Dan lo.fat.sig - The 8-Bit Collective/8-Bit Records * US/Finland - lo.fat.sig Dan Nicholson +1-908-687-3479 - moddan@vlad.bowker.com
