Here here! I was hoping someone would suggest this. The term
"intelligent" never did appeal to me, as who is to say what is {i} and
what aint? "electronic" is a little more cut and dry, and isn't as
intimidating to new-comers (like I was in Sept.: "Intelligent Dance?
what the f*** is that?"). I think the discussion would become more broad
and encompass more genres if we ditched the {i}-word, and I wouldn't
feel so bad talking about one of my favorite edm artists, CJ Bolland.
Besides, if it weren't for this list (as it exists now),
I wouldn't have a clue as to whether I should buy Biosphere or LaTour
(gasp!) I, for one, hope that the discussion remains diverse and
varied, and I will continue to talk about Bolland, Eat Static, Spooky,
Meat Beat, etc; until someone creates the edm list (oh joy of joys!)
