A good acid jazz comp (the only one i've got so far) is 'House of Acid Jazz',
volume 1, put out by Astralwerks, on Caroline. Its got 12 tracks by all sorts
of artists, and each one has their own unique flavor of acid jazz/house.
It's by far the best comp I've heard, although I don't listen to many (I'm VERY
skeptical of comps, after hearing a lot of generic bland 'techno' comps from
various friends). So I would highly recommend this collection to anyone looking
to get a feel for what acid jazz is all about.
