Yeah I whole-heartedly agree with this!! I've been listening to this kind of music for most of the 90's and people forget it was in a large part of the equation, their sense of melody that made artists such The Black Dog and Aphex Twin as popular and influential as they are today.

If you like melody in your electronic music you'll have to give Skam a big kick up the arse to get them to release the Pretty Boy Cross Over (PBXO) stuff I was going to sign and release on my label. From what i've heard (and let me preface this by saying it's a second hand though reliable source, so it could be wrong but the recent Skam release schedule does prove it's most likely correct)... Andy Maddox is up to his usual tricks... "Yeah I love your stuff and i'll release it".. then they never hear from him again. Shame I would have had this excellent music out around October if they hadn't fallen for the trap of brighter lights.. seems like they got burnt like moths too. I truly hope it sees a release on Skam or another label soon.
