Speaking of shouting....
Ok, so has anyone heard this yet? I'm not really familiar with his work - I
got it to review for the college radio station where I have a show.
To me, the recording sounds TERRIBLE - it is twice as loud as it needed to
me and it just sounds ruined. No dynamic range at all. I"m gonna load this
into audacity or something when I get home for shits n' giggles, but I
already know what I'm going to see. It's one thing if you're a noise
artist, but this ain't noise, and even most noise has more range than this.
This seems odd to me, since it was reasonably well-composed and had
potential, as far as I'm concerned.
I've heard a few decent reviews of this from reviewers I trust, so I'm
wondering if I got a bum CD?
