I just saw a post (idm forum) asking what's going on in the next week in Seattle. Taking that question to the next level as I'm thinking of moving back to the Seattle/Portland area:
1. Which city is better for high quality dance music (tech-house etc) and IDM? Or is not really a "better" but different thing, and if so, how so?
2. What are some great re-occurring events that are "must sees" or could be approached if one wanted a DJing outlet?
3. How does the wintertime/general gloomy weather affect the scene?
4. Anyone have any particular strong likes/dislikes for the Seattle/Portland scene?
