Can it be that given the 'lifestyle' predilections of many musicians, almost all 'youth-oriented' music made in the past fifty years can be said to be 'Recovery Rock'?
Or maybe 'Recovery Rock' is the musical sub-subgenre of remaking a remake of a song? Like if I were to record my version of Devo's version of "Satisfaction" (the Rolling Stones song).
Or in the case of live IDM, perhaps it refers to dancing ability/losing and regaining balance of oneself or one's drink?
