My favourite small label has to be Spekk - apart from the quality of the
music, the packaging is an absolute delight. Similarly Raster Noton, Rune
Grammofon, Burial Mix, SamadhiSound and, for a while, Jazzland. Most of
their output is a pleasure to hold, handle and examine whilst you listen.
I'd rather own the physical product by far than download the mp3. Innovative
packaging is one bulwark against P2P.
