I listen to a lot of things on a daily basis. Only some of it falls in a narrow definition of "IDM". Much of what I listen to shares features with what is called IDM. I find what I like all over the map; in what you might call electropop (like Lali Puna or The Notwist), classical and neo-classical (like Steve Reich, Kronos Quartet), ambient (Twine), noise (Black Dice), electrofolk (Animal Collective), or even "rock" (Comets On Fire, Architecture In Helsinki) etc. Although these IDM records are a little old now, they have not been superceded by anything for me. Except maybe by Juana Molina "IDM" that I listen to a lot: Oval

This stuff still blows me away. I get more from it every time I listen. Four Tet

Fun, inventive, good spirited - always a boost - touchstone records for me Autechre

Arguably the most successful realization of their ideas. Music to tinge the edges or to grab and wrestle, as the mood strikes. Just to throw this in because I suspect that other enjoy a list as much as I do: others related to IDM (not in order of preference) that I listen to the most.

...and others seemingly not related to idm but may incorporate similar ideas, strategies, techniques, etc that I also listen to a lot:
