hello idmlisters (particularly the NYC/BK kind),
just wanted to give a last minute invite to a last minute event going on in
Greenpoint tonight... no live music, just playing a new comp and DJing.
To celebrate the thawing out of a long frozen ecclectic music outlet based
in Brooklyn (Little Fury Things Records) we've put together a new
compilation of exciting sounds spanning from cough-syrup-stoner-hip-hop to
psychedelic-space-ballads to just plain racket.
the new comp features remixes by thorston sideb0ard and william fields from
teamtechno.
I know some on this list contributed remixes to a remix compilation we put
together a couple years ago, and the comp was never released (as the label
disappeared), but i'll be getting to all of you soon with news on it's
imminent awakening (it was better that we waited to do it properly, please
trust me on that).

What the hell is this crappy-stink-spam?!
Well, gather around my little gutter critters and open up your sound holes
for some history? back in the day, Little Fury Things records was a
Brooklyn-based music label that put out a dozen-or-so wacky releases oh,
back between 2001 and ?03? then the scrappy beast went into hibernation? and
thought about all the bad things it had done? until now. That be right, LFT
records is back with a ? squizzle-zip-pop? and a bribble-piz-shnooon!?
Come by the Marc Bar tonight, Wednesday August 31st cause at 10pm (sharp!)
we?ll be playing the brand baby-spanking new LFT Compilation in it?s
entirety featuring 13 artists over 23 tracks of super-diverse Team LFT
sonic-pile-drivers... and we?ll have comps for sale for? like? I?m not sure
yet, but no more than $3, maybe as low as $1, with cool hand-crayoned covers
and neat-o packaging. Drinks are cheap, CDs are cheap? you can feel rich
for once in your miserable life! This is the weird new stuff you don?t have
yet and let?s face it, you can?t afford ?real? CDs anyway, so? see ya
tonight, eh?....
