Lately I am getting into the idea of booking DJs and
artsits that are simply incredibly passionate about
whatever it is that they are playing/doing and not
worrying so much about what genres they play. This is
where I have been going more as an event/music curator
person lately. Hope you can dig it! ;)
DJs for 06/07/2005
Jamie (dub, ragga, and other suprizes)
Jamie is my housemate, and he has the sickest, most
comprehensive collection of dub and ragga that i have
ever seen and heard. He is constantly playing at our
place, and he is always out searching for musical
gems! Amazing collection, Good stuff!
Miss Gawker - [holdfastrecordings, spaz]
Miss Gawker is bringing out the crazy mad techno
collection for the evening.
spaz + techno = hell yeah, bring it on! =)
Forest Green [Dim Sum, Sister SF, CF, FnF]
probably be playing some minimal techno, techno and
idm tuesday night. i've been going through a lot of
my old minimal techno collection lately and playing
with it again. it's yummy!!! =)
Just a note: The DJs may end up playing something
totally different than what is talked about above. It
is their call, but whatever they end up playing it is
sure to be dope! ;)
