I was order #31, and received it (in Austin) on Thursday via the postal service--yours is probably enroute as we're typing. Mine got here in 95% shape, a minor seam split in the vinyl sleeve holding the actual 12". Wouldn't be an issue at all except for the embossed Aphex logo in the lower righthand corner of the vinyl sleeve, which will surely make it impossible to replace. Nice touch, btw. The binder itself isn't as epic as it has been made out to be; in addition to being a sometimes Aphex spotter, I'm also way into Factory...and while the concept behind the Analord binder is Factory-esque, the execution lacks the full attention to detail of Manchester's best imprint ever. No ingenious catalog #ering, no inset design or artwork, and the brass electroplated binder rings look as though they'll start to discolor quite soon. Maybe not, but I've got a hunch... The music itself is pretty choice--although I'm sure it's intended for 45, I like mine just fine at 33. It's rich, dense, and warm on both sides; at 33, it's melodically and thematically as complex as RDJAlbum, but the overall musicality and tonality are, to my ears, all about SAWI. I expect to play the shit out of the final CD comp. Heath Jason Clark wrote:
