Considering the 20 or so CD's I order a week I think
it's well near impossible to narrow it down to 10
albums for all of 2004. Instead, here is a preliminary
list of 20 albums that were streamed on StaticBeats
during the past year that continue to get heavy
playback in my car, at home, and at work. Much of this
list has been culled from the archives:

edIT - Crying Over Pros for No Reason (Planet Mu)
Arovane - Lilies (City Centre Offices)
Helios - Unomia (Merck)
Stendec - A Study of 'And' (Expanding)
Mr. Projectile - Sinking (Merck)
Adam Johnson - Chigliak (Merck)
Erast - Goodair + Minimissing (Laboratory Instinct)
Claro Intelecto - Neurofibro (Ai)
Ai Records - Station (Ai)
Beans - Shock City Maverick (Warp)
String Theory - Radiovalerian (Wobblyhead)
Home Video - Citizen EP (Warp Records)
Himuro - Clear Without Items (Couchblip!)
Prodigy - Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned (XL)
Freeform - Wildcat (Skam)
Marshall Watson - The Time Was Later Than He Expected
(Highpoint Lowlife)
Blockhead - Music by Cavelight (Ninja Tune)
Wagon Christ - Sorry I Make You Lush (Ninja Tune)
Shadow Huntaz - Corrupt Data (Rephlex)
Headset - Space Settings (Plug Research)
There's probably about a hundred more that'll come to
mind over the next couple weeks but this is what I
could come up with during the 30 minutes I've taken
from my job to write it up ;-)
