Sorry to hear that your iPod died. I know people who are still using three year old first generation iPods without any problems whatsoever. All products die eventually, especially ones with hard drives in them. It was probably your hard drive that went out. Hard drives die in computers and any mp3 players that use them... it's just a matter of when, not if. The same problem is bound to happen in every other mp3 player, and the popularity of the iPod would indicate that people who have 'premature deaths' are quite the minority. You could have opted for a three year Applecare warranty that would have covered it. Oh well, sorry to hear it died though. -- Mr. Tangent [the binary police] www.mrtangent.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
