quoted 1 line Warp in the 00's is like Cleopatra or Invisible in the 90's. In the early days o> Warp in the 00's is like Cleopatra or Invisible in the 90's. In the early days of all three of
those labels, they put out some really great stuff for the times. --------------------------- Cleopatra???????????!!!!!!!!!!! Really great stuff????????????!!!! Invisible?????????????!!!!!!!!!! Really great stuff????????????!!!! Like what? It's really easy to dismiss these albums after a decade, but when they came out they were the sound of the times. When I mentioned Cleopatra and Invisible, those were only two labels of that era with which I would also group Reconstriction and Fifth Column. In fact, I get them all confused and I don't remember what came out on what labels, but some good stuff from back then was- Vampire Rodents Mentallo and the Fixer Not Breathing Pigface Dead Voices on Air Front Line Assembly Foetus (didn't Cleo put out a few from Jim?) Leatherstrip Diatribe 16 Volt (the first album at least) Sister Machine Gun (ditto) I'm sure there's many others, like the ones who put out just one album and disappeared who I'll never remember off the top of my head.
