You could spend $100 on an Ebtech hum eliminator. Or, you could just
use 3 prong to 2 prong adapters with the ground pin unattached. As long
as you don't take a bath in a steel tub full of salt water while you're
using your laptop you'll be just fine.
I got mad a few weeks back when my laptop/Hammerfall DSP started making
nasty noises because my wife swiped the 3 prong adapter, and I snapped
the ground pin off the power supply cord. This is an even eviller suggestion,
but the ground pins break right off if you wiggle them vigorously.
