I was just about to mention Tim Wright - he's a mate of mine, and people seem to think he does garage (I'm not sure of these genres, so maybe he does!). Anyway, check out the 12"s on NovaMute (esp. "The Lunge"/"Going down") - fantastic... On a (slightly) more 'house' tip, you could do worse than check out his 'Tube Jerk' abums on Sativae records - 'Fold' is now out of print, but 'Shift' is a grand chunk'o'music - reminiscent of his 'Germ' period, it manages to survive listening and dancing... john..
