If anything, the one trait I've noticed is that cat owners tend to be a bit more independently-minded, which is why they like cats -- you can leave a cat alone for a few days, just giving it some food and cleaning up its poop, and it won't really care. Dog owners tend to like companionship, though, and dogs like playing, walking, and other "friend" type things.
