Charles: give the label that is doing the compilation
a different edit of the track than the version of that
track that will appear on your album. that way each
gets a different exclusive version; a note: while some
labels might not mind your mentioning names in
situations like this, it would be probably in your best
interest--in future--to ask questions of this nature
without mentioning label names. hope this helps. take
