As lame as I feel admitting it, Lassi is the reason I got into electronic music. His old tracker stuff was fucking mind-blowing, and I spent quite a bit of time ripping it off when I started making music. Anyway, I agree that his stuff on Warp hasn't been up to his potential, but like people said, Warp selected the tracks as far as I know. I definitely suggest that you people see Brothomstates live sometime, though. I don't know how many US dates he's ever played, but he played at the Phoenix Festival last year with Machine Drum/Syndrone and myself and it was a rockin good time. He's also one of the nicest people I've ever met. I definitely think people should check out that Default Response set, BTW- I downloaded it last week and it was awesome. -- :: atomly :: [ atomly@atomly.com : www.atomly.com ...
