That's the reason right there. The convenience of p2p
and the astoundingly remote chance of getting in
trouble for it is the reason that everyone does it
without thinking. That's why I think that in order
for a paid download service to work, the system really
has to compete with 'free' in order to work. Now, you
can't compete with free on price, but if you set up
some kind of system where the downloader knows that a
certain percentage of the fee is going straight back
to the artist, I think more people would be willing to
give it a shot, to alleviate their consience if
nothing else.
