No that's not my point at all, I don't want them to
rehash Amber or ep7, I want them to make music that I
enjoy listening to. So I guess then in a sense yes it
is all about me. Plaid has been evolving in
interesting ways over the years without sounding like
some John Cage on synthesizers experiment, so have a
lot of old school artists of that generation. Is
everyone that can't hear what you hear in "Confield"
part of the slobbering masses? Maybe Autechre can
start releasing music that is entirley triggered by
marbles falling on a specially built MIDI triggered
studio floor, and you can read some friggin book about
it, scratch you chin, pat yourself on the back, and
congradulate youself on your educated ear and be proud
of the fact that you are far superior than the filthy
slobbering masses.
