I just have to share that later on Saturday after it was published I got a message from Romulo. He loved the piece and wanted to chat about it. We ended up talking for a long time - longest phone conversation I’ve had since I was dating my current and only wife! - where he talked about the album and the Miami scene. Fascinating to find that a guy from Miami and a guy from Connecticut had so much in common musically! He got me on a massive old school hip hop kick which has currently gotten me listening to all the Time Zone remixes. Such a great guy!
