i'll chime in here. i used to be a huge prince fan...

agree on "dirty mind" (insane oldschool funkiness, and almost completely self-produced), and "sign o' the times" (just a great album), but STRONGLY disagree on the "black album" (just not very interesting - i liked lovesexy better) and "parade" (definitely his worst album ever, although it happens to contain one of his best songs ever, "kiss").

unless you mean the movie (which sucked, not surprisingly), i disagree! much of it is crap, yes, and it's definitely a little dated, but it's got some great tracks - elephants and flowers, the question of u, joy in repetition, round and round, release it... good stuff. and some of his most compositionally interesting, imho.
