Like I said in my other post, check out www.dubplate.net and listen through the sound samples. I pretty much swear by anything on Bingo Beats, Tempa, ShelfLife (although this has a lighter, more electro feel), Soulja, Sidewinder, Ghost, etc. And don't miss Maddslinky's (aka Zed Bias, one of the best in this genre) stuff on Sirkus -- absolutely devastating bass pressure. I've written two recent columns gushing with enthusiasm for the stuff, if anyone's interested: http://www.neumu.net/needledrops/data/00017_needledrops.shtml http://www.neumu.net/needledrops/data/00014_needledrops.shtml Cheers Phil ----- Original Message ----- From: "component" <component@mindstorm.com> To: "Philip Sherburne" <psherburne@mindspring.com>; <idm@hyperreal.org> Sent: Sunday, January 06, 2002 5:04 PM Subject: Re: [idm] 2 step (ot)
