there was i time when i too enjoyed a good punch in the face by
sqaurepusher(feed me wierd things), aphex, and alot of other generally
breakneck stuff. but that stuff wast just wank, it had tune to it, mastery
on many levels. the new stuff from these guys doesnt have any of the above
and beyond qualities of the past(imo). seems like there is no feeling, just
wankery. i have to look somewhere else now for what i need. Telefon is
delivering that. its not just some watered down idm junk.in fact, i wouldnt
even call this idm, it is a departure and a progression. finally someone is
doing it!!!! there are soo many levels on this record its amazing. i could
only imagine how much work it took to get this gem done. the intricate
progarmming, non-half assed melodics, and production on par with any of the
top. to top it off, this is their first album. im fucking blown away!!!!!!!!
