i fully agree with brian here and i'm starting to get erked by the IDM i've
been coming across. it's getting too complacent. where is the passion?!
there's no fire in this music. too passive.
i came into this music through early aphex and mu-ziq. that shit rocks like
anything rocks. it kicks ass. IDM these days seems way way too glossy and
dreamy and dead. and as a disclaimer i'll claim ignorance of every niche of
the scene right now, so dont get mad at me, show me what there is...
i'll take vanetian snares over tel aviv...
