This has to be the most horrifying event of recent years, its sheer volume
being the really terrifying element, and there is no protection from people
who believe that a cause is more important than their lives. The USA is not
blameless (it's arrogant foreign policies have hurt many nations), the
people in the WTC were. Nobody can make light of such a massive intentional
loss of human life.
Religion has fucked the world, it divides and blinds.
