Here's one you dont see often, if @ all, and it might be too ole for many of you young-bucks, but ahhhh..... "Maggot Brain" by George Clinton......and incidentally, if you didnt know, Eddie Hazel who plays the guitar solo was, I believe, one of Jimi Hendrix last pupils........and in this tune you can clearly hear he learned and was taught well...... ----- Original Message ----- From: Adam Wendt Sent: Monday, August 06, 2001 3:35 PM To: idm@hyperreal.org Subject: [idm] Epic Tracks What are some tracks that make you feel so small and insigificant like you have been ingulfed by them and they won't let you out? :) Two I can think of right now: Orbital - The Box (long version/parts 1-4): This is such an amazing tune, my favorite part starts at about 9:05. I can listen to this track all day long. Not so much IDM but, John Digweed - Heaven Scent: This track definatly makes me feel like I'm surrounded. Well it sounded like a good topic when I thought of it I just wish I could have thought of some better examples. So what are your favorite 'epic' tracks?
