It's a little ironic to me that someone is putting
down one of the pioneer musical genres of early
electronic music. If it wasnt for raps inovation and
experimentation we would still be listening to elitist
academic boring stuff or disco white people music.You
can hear the influence of rap all over IDM, and while
there is a lot of crap out there, especially on the
radio, it doesnt mean there isnt some really good
stuff out there. Of course you are setting yourself up
for dissapointment if you listen to the radio or MTV
in the first place, but thats the price you pay for
bieng a wanker. Check out Anti-pop Consortium or any
of the chocalate Industries stuff.
