For the love of goodness gratious GO SEE Telefon Tel Aviv play!!!! They did an AWESOME show here in Detroit and blew everyone away with their guitars, stealthy looking laptops and mother load of equipment set up :). Imagine if a mute Radiohead and Autechre had a love child... ok, yeah..so i like them. diana -----Original Message----- From: Hefty Records [mailto:hefty@heftyrecords.com] Sent: Monday, June 18, 2001 10:56 PM To: idm@hyperreal.org Subject: [idm] HEFTY records showcase @ mca, CHICAGO HEFTY RECORDS SHOWCASE @ museum of contemporary art, CHICAGO this FRIDAY... on friday, june 22nd as part of the museum of contemporary art's yearly summer solstice festival, hefty artists slicker, beneath autumn sky, telefon tel aviv, and twine will be performing. hefty will have a two hour window in the main cafe room. this will be slicker's chicago debut and beneath autumn sky's first live date ever. be sure to get there early as lines in past years have been long! the full details are below: 6.22.01 summer solstice (hefty showcase portion) artists: slicker, twine, beneath autumn sky, and telefon tel aviv four live sets, approximately 30 minutes each brought to you by infrared museum of contemporary art (mca), chicago 220 e. chicago avenue (312) 280-2660 the hefty performance will be around 2 hours and will begin at approximately midnight also performing before and after the hefty set will be k-rad, trs-80, tv sheriff, 16 stlye, diverse visuals by brien rullman and yum yum the event is an all night affair Hefty Records 1658 N.
