have heard a lot of these live versions and watched a gig on youtube and honestly does nothing for me other
than make me want to listen to the original tunes. Granted, seeing them live could be a different experience
but for me the drum programming is what makes a lot of his stuff classics, seeing a drummer trying to recreate that is
novel but doesnt sound as good to me. thats just my initial impression.
