I agree with this to a certain extent, but the problem for me is that Jungle is (or was rather) all about the beats. I'm not sure about the rest of you, but the first time I heard jungle I was in awe of the beats, the rest of it was just fluff to keep things interesting. I remeber hearing Timeless in 95 and just thinking "What the fuck is going on? How are they doing this?" When I hear (most) Jungle now I think "What the fuck is going on? Why are they still doing this?" Just my 2 cents that no one really asked for.
