Yeah, they're silly until you get this sudden hellish ringing in your ears
that comes and goes at random intervals a few years later. Not to mention
having more trouble hearing your friends speak while walking down the
street because of background noise.
But seriously, it depends on the earplugs and how good the soundsystem is.
I wore plugs for Ae's NYC and Princeton shows and things sounded fine to
me. Use your own judgement but don't say I didn't warn you ;)
