mp3.com was the shit 15 years ago. good source for unknown & untapped, but really talented IDM artists that i would religiously listen to every day in my cubicle at work and now nostalgically search for to no avail when an obscure name or track title graces my memory...yes, there really was a time when just because something was on the internet, it didn't meant it would be there for good. seemed to be a whole genre of acoustic surf punk quite prevalent on there i was into as well. i don't know a modern equivalent, mostly just find and listen to music via youtube; quite fond of the internet radio station somafm.com
