If people just stopped using the default programs like Outlook and Eudora, this problem wouldn't even occur. These viruses are encoded with macros to self-email though popular programs like these....
USE a shareware (or other type of) email client! There are many that are just as good, if not better (with more configurability) than Outlook and Eudora.
I like Foxmail. Smaller, faster, and just as good.
