been listening to that Syl Kougaï record all day, which seemed to make quite a few best-of lists last year, and it's quite good. more than a few passages bear a strong resemblance to Arca, ahem, which seemed to be universally derided last year (which I find quite odd).

Subject: Re: best of 2015 Clint I too was not into vaporwave until that last thread. But i've been kind of binging the last few days and there is some good stuff out there. Also a lot of crap. Great office working music which fits between BoC, Deepchord, Monolake and other stuff which is in our strikezone. some of my newfound faves.

Seconded. I got a kick out of seeing it at the very top of Igloo Mag's Best of 2015 list (posted by Pietro a couple Sundays ago). I realize the releases were not ranked in order, but still.
I think vaporwave is swell and am super bummed that vaporwave.me went under.

This may introduce another topic, given that 'Vaporwave' seems pretty contentious (and I've been meaning to ask about this on
here for a while), but I really liked this album fro 2 8 1 4.
