He already has. It's called "Cricklewood". :) To me, it's easily his
best recorded work (I have heard some very tasty live sets, though) and
far far above any of his beat-oriented material. The textures and sounds
on that album to me are wonderful. And he did spend a while on that one.
He was a pretty militant experimentalist at that point. I'll grant that
some of his stuff has been patchy, but "Cricklewood" still holds its own
for me better than most electronic records I bought from that year.
