since i sparked this discussion with my comments on clouddead, i just want
to clear up any assumptions:
the songs i have heard are, IMO, sick as fuck. they are the first bits of
music in a LONG time that have made me go "WOW -- WHAT IS THIS? WHY IS
THIS? WHERE IS THIS? WHO IS THIS?".
i in no way meant to start an argument over what hip hop is and isnt or
what it should be. and i agree with riyan here, in fact. but i will also
say that this is some of the best *music* i have heard in a long time --
hip hop, idm, folk or whatever...
