Check out anything by Laurent Ho (AKA HO.EXE) and anything on
Uncivilized World... It's basicaly hard, noisy techno... Very good
stuff (and he's an amazing DJ- see him if you get the chance).
You might also like some older Doormouse or Unibomber stuff (before they
started doing dnb) which just got repressed

People could only tweak the filter on a compressed 909 kick for so long

Yea, that would all be breaks oriented stuff... Try Scud's release on
kool.pop from last year, that's less dnb and more straight up hardcore.
